The Scots Greys are best remembered for their charge at Waterloo in June 1815 — heavy cavalry thundering through the French infantry, clutching captured eagle standards, immortalised in Lady Butler's famous painting. It was a decisive but costly action; the regiment overextended its charge and suffered heavy losses before withdrawing.

Part of Airfix's 54mm Collectors Series, first issued in 1971. The kit builds a trooper of the regiment in full charge, mounted on horseback in Waterloo-era uniform. A classic Airfix figure subject with strong visual drama and a well-known historical moment behind it.
