AIRA02052A - Airfix 1/72 Gloster Gladiator I/II - WWHP111970
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Gloster Gladiator was the last biplane fighter to serve with the RAF, introducing modern features such as an enclosed cockpit and a four-machine-gun armament. Still in front-line service at the outbreak of the Second World War, it acquitted itself capably despite being outclassed by modern monoplanes, flying in defence of Malta, Norway, and the Western Desert. It was the mount of several notable pilots, including Pat Pattle and author Roald Dahl, and preserved examples still fly today.
