This kit replicates the Short Stirling, the first four-engine heavy bomber to enter RAF service in the Second World War and the only one designed from the outset to that role. Entering operations in 1941, the Stirling served as a strategic bomber before moving to glider tug, transport, and supply-dropping duties later in the war. This is the Airfix tooling (originally released in the mid-1960s), reboxed for the North American market by Craft Master.
