Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
Airfix's 1975 new-tool Magister in its first issue, Series 2, Made in England, still carrying the "NEW" starburst on the box. Box art features the Patrouille de France in their famous blue, white, and red display scheme. Decals for three aircraft: the Patrouille de France machine, a silver-and-dayglo Luftwaffe trainer, and a Belgian Air Force Magister (MT 10, shown on the side panel).
The Fouga CM.170 Magister was the world's first purpose-designed jet trainer, instantly recognizable by its butterfly V-tail and slender twin-jet layout. Nearly 1,000 were built, training pilots across more than 20 air forces, and the type made the Patrouille de France a fixture of European airshows through the 1960s and 70s. Israeli Magisters even flew armed close-support sorties in the Six-Day War.
