This is the older Airfix Bf 110 tooling — the kit dates back to 1959 and was re-boxed many times over the decades, with the 02006-4 being a mid-1970s boxing specifically labelled as the D variant. The D was the long-range version of the 110, distinguished by its extended rear fuselage and large drop tank, used for operations over the Atlantic and in the early North African theatre.
