The "Enigma" was an Iraqi field modification of the Soviet T-55, up-armoured with bolt-on applique armour boxes over the turret, glacis and hull sides to improve protection against anti-tank weapons during the Iran-Iraq War and Gulf War. The heavy add-on armour gave the vehicle a distinctive boxy appearance, and only a limited number were converted. Underneath, it retained the standard 100mm-gunned T-55. This is ACE's short-run 1/72 injection kit, an updated release.
