The Type 59 (industrial designation WZ-120) was the People's Republic of China's first domestically produced main battle tank, a licence-built development of the Soviet T-54A with production beginning in 1957 at Baotou. It became the most numerous tank in Chinese service and was widely exported to Pakistan, Iraq and other operators. Later improvements introduced a laser rangefinder over the barrel, side skirts, and in some cases turret-mounted smoke grenade dischargers. This is ACE's short-run 1/72 injection kit.
