ACE72141 - ACE Models 1/72 T-55 Main Battle Tank - WWHP113811

Preowned, Resealed, Mint

The T-55 entered Soviet service in 1958 as a development of the T-54. It added protection against nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) threats, an improved 100 mm gun mount and more ammunition stowage. It was built in Kharkiv, Nizhny Tagil and Omsk, and under licence in Poland and Czechoslovakia. Together with the T-54, it became the most produced tank family in history. T-54s and T-55s went to dozens of countries and fought in conflicts from the Middle East to Afghanistan and the Gulf War. This 1/72 kit from Ukrainian manufacturer ACE models the classic T-55 with link-and-length tracks and markings from three different armies.
