12432 - Academy 1/72 F/A-18C "Chippy Ho! 2009" - WWWEB10114318

Preowned, Resealed, Mint

Chippy Ho! is the name carried by the CAG aircraft of VFA-195 "Dambusters", a tradition said to come from a pilot calling out "Chippy Ho" instead of "Tally Ho" on spotting an adversary during an early dogfight. The 2009 scheme, worn by the squadron's F/A-18C while based at NAF Atsugi and flying from USS George Washington, is one of the boldest of the series, with a green spine, checkerboard intakes and a snarling eagle across both tails. Academy released this limited Special Edition in 2012, built on its highly regarded 1/72 F/A-18C tooling.
