ACA12232 - Academy 1/48 f-4B "VF-111 Sundowners" - WWWEB10101157
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II was the US Navy's primary carrier-based fleet fighter of the 1960s, a twin-engine, two-seat interceptor and fighter-bomber that saw heavy combat over Vietnam. VF-111 "Sundowners," flying from USS Coral Sea, were known for their shark-mouth nose and rising-sun tail markings. This is Academy's MCP (Multi Color Parts) boxing, with the sprues moulded in several colours to approximate the finished scheme.
Box contents:
- Multi-coloured injection-moulded plastic sprues (MCP)
- Clear parts
- Three pilot figures
- Air-to-air and air-to-ground ordnance with drop tanks
- Waterslide decal sheet printed by Cartograf, Italy, with VF-111 Sundowners markings (USS Coral Sea)
- Assembly and painting instructions
