German armoured vehicles carried pioneer tools clamped to the hull sides and rear plates, and from 1943 the fittings were progressively simplified as production was rationalised. These late war clamps were thin pressed steel, a shape that plastic moulding cannot capture without thickening it several times over scale. Etched brass brings them back to a believable thickness and lets the tools be posed in place, hinged open or left off the vehicle entirely.
