Geoffrey de Havilland’s DH.60 Moth of 1925 brought affordable private flying to a whole generation of pilots. The DH.60G Gipsy Moth followed in 1928, powered by de Havilland’s own Gipsy engine, and it became one of the most widely used light aircraft of the interwar years. Gipsy Moths served flying clubs and air forces around the world, including in Poland, where they carried civil SP- registrations and military checkerboard markings. This kit comes from ABC Modelfarb’s Polish series, whose title translates as “aircraft flown and fought by Polish airmen.”
