VLJ71157 - Vallejo Air Paint Set: US Navy & USMC colors 1940-1945
Vallejo US Navy & USMC Colors 1940–1945
Suitable for: Grumman F6F Hellcat, Vought F4U Corsair, Grumman TBF Avenger, Douglas SBD Dauntless, Grumman F4F Wildcat. Covers the Non-Specular Sea Blue tricolor scheme (1944–45) and earlier Blue-Grey camouflage.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
