Israeli ‘Sinai Grey’ early tone (often referenced as IDF Sand Grey 1973; approx. FS 33531 / FS 34201 mix) — dominant IDF armor color, approx. late 1960s–mid 1970s. Applied to: Centurion Sho’t (pre-Kal and early Kal), Magach 3 (M48A3), Magach 5 (M48A5), early Magach 6 (M60), M113 APC (early IDF service), AMX-13 (late service repaints). Used extensively in Six-Day War aftermath (1967–1973) and Yom Kippur War (1973) across Sinai and Golan Heights.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
