Vallejo Model Air — USAF Brown

USAF Southeast Asia (SEA) camouflage brown (approx. FS 30219) — one of the four-tone SEA scheme colors, approx. 1960s–1980s. Applied to: F-4C/D/E Phantom II, F-105D/F Thunderchief, F-100D Super Sabre, A-1 Skyraider, A-7D Corsair II, B-52D Stratofortress (‘Big Belly’), AC-130A/E gunship, OV-10 Bronco, C-130 Hercules (tactical camo). Used extensively in Vietnam War (1965–1975) and continued in USAF service into early 1980s.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
