German Olive Green (Olivgrün RAL 6003) — introduced with Dunkelgelb system as secondary camouflage color, approx. 1943–1945. Applied in field or factory over RAL 7028 base. Applied to: Panther Ausf. D/A/G; Tiger I (mid/late), Tiger II; Panzer IV Ausf. G/H/J; Jagdpanzer IV; Jagdpanther; Jagdtiger; StuG III Ausf. G; StuG IV; Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D; Sd.Kfz. 234 series; Hummel, Wespe, Nashorn; late-war Opel Blitz; Hetzer (Jagdpanzer 38(t)). Used in Kursk (1943), Italy (1943–45), Normandy (1944), Ardennes (1944–45), Eastern Front late-war defensive operations.

Weathering & modulation: Highlight with VLJ70833 German Camouflage Bright Green on raised surfaces. For field-faded appearance add VLJ70879 Green Ochre to the base.

Scale colour note: At 1:35 lighten 10% with VLJ70879. At 1:72 lighten 15–20%.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
