Vallejo Model Air — Light Sea Blue
Subject: Aircraft
Light Sea Blue FS 35260 — USN intermediate scheme. F6F-5 Hellcat (late production), some TBM-3 Avenger (post-war reserve). Also used as a transitional colour on some USN aircraft between the Tri-Color scheme and the post-war grey-and-white.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
