USAF Barley Grey FS 36173 — Cold War era USAF and US Army aviation. C-130E/H Hercules (Military Airlift Command), C-141A Starlifter, C-5A Galaxy transport aircraft. The standard overall grey for MAC/AMC strategic transport aircraft from 1960s through 1990s.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
