Vallejo Model Air — Olive Drab Braunviolett
Subject: Armour ยท Aircraft
US Olive Drab / Braunviolett mix โ transitional and mixed camouflage. Suitable for US Army vehicles in Pacific theatre (M4 Sherman, Philippines 1944) with mixed olive-violet tones, and for modelling early production Olive Drab that had faded or been mixed differently across factories.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
