The 1941 Willys Americar was built as cheap transportation, a small, light coupe from a company that survived on frugality. What made it immortal was arithmetic: strip one, stuff in the biggest engine you can find, and the light body turns into one of the fastest things on a drag strip. By the 1960s the Willys coupe had become the definitive Gasser, tilted nose high on a straight axle with a blower poking through the hood, and it has stayed a hot rod icon ever since. This is Testors' Hot Rod Magazine metal body kit, with a die cast body that comes pre-painted and decorated straight out of the box.
