TAM60303 - Tamiya - 1/32 F-14A Tomcat 1994 Version
The F-14 was built around the AWG-9 radar and the AIM-54 Phoenix, giving the US Navy a fleet defence fighter that could track two dozen targets and engage six of them at once. The swing wing let it loiter at low speed for the carrier approach and then sweep back for the intercept, and it stayed in service for over three decades.
This is Tamiya kit 60303, Aircraft Series No.3, the 1994 version. Operating variable geometry wings, a detailed opening canopy, a full two seat cockpit, three action posed crew figures, and detailed rubber tires. Underwing stores and a full stencil decal sheet are included.
