The Welbike was a tiny single-seat folding motorcycle developed for Britain's Special Operations Executive and airborne forces during the Second World War. Powered by a 98cc engine and weighing just 32kg, it folded down to fit inside a parachute drop container so paratroopers could ride off soon after landing. Around 3,600 were built and issued mainly to the 1st and 6th Airborne Divisions, seeing use at Normandy and Arnhem.
