Few Tamiya kits have earned their place on the bench like the German Infantry Weapons Set. Rather than a vehicle, it gives the modeller the small arms and equipment a Wehrmacht infantry section actually carried, from the Kar 98k that armed the bulk of the army to the MP44 that pointed the way toward every assault rifle since. It is the standard source for arming figures and dressing dioramas, and the moulding still holds up decades after release.
