Description
TAM20028 - Tamiya 1/20 Leyton House CG901B - WWHP111527
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
Designed by Adrian Newey, the Leyton House CG901B was the B-specification update of the team's 1990 Formula 1 challenger, introduced mid-season after the original A-spec struggled with aerodynamic correlation issues. The car produced one of that year's more memorable moments at the French Grand Prix, where Capelli ran at the front for much of the race before being passed by Alain Prost's Ferrari in the closing laps and finishing second. The CG901B is powered by a naturally aspirated Judd EV 76° V8, on Goodyear tyres. Original new-tool release from Tamiya, first issued in 1991.
