Honda returned to Formula One in 1983 after a fifteen-year absence and paired with Williams to chase a title. The FW-11 was the car that delivered it, a carbon fibre monocoque behind a 1.5 litre V6 turbo pushed to around 1000 horsepower in qualifying trim. Nelson Piquet and Nigel Mansell took wins across the 1986 season and Williams took the constructors' championship. Tamiya's 1/20 Grand Prix Collection kit dates from 1986, and this box carries the Borgfeldt Toys importer sticker from the Canadian release.
