Warren Johnson earned the nickname "The Professor" for the engineering approach he brought to NHRA Pro Stock, and took the championship in 1993 driving this GM Performance Parts Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The car ran a naturally aspirated Oldsmobile V8 in a Don Ness tube chassis, and Johnson held the class records of 7.027 seconds and 196.24 mph at the time this kit was released. He went on to become one of the most successful drivers in the history of the category.
