The Chevrolet Corvette C5-R scored one of American motorsport's most significant international victories at the 2001 24 Hours of Le Mans, taking a historic GTS class 1-2. The #63 car of Ron Fellows, Johnny O'Connell, and Scott Pruett won the GTS class and finished 8th overall, with the #64 sister car second in class. The race was run in heavy rain and thunderstorms. Revell (Germany) rebox of the C5-R tooling, 2003.
