ETV Waker Model Kit - Scale replica of the legendary Coast Guard Ship

With this detailed model kit of the ETV Waker, you can transform a piece of maritime history into an impressive exhibit. The faithful replica of the Dutch Coast Guard ship offers you the perfect opportunity to put your model building skills to the test.

Special features

  • Scale replica with authentic details such as the signature helipad
  • High-quality plastic parts for precise assembly and long durability
  • Two detailed cranes demonstrate the technical equipment of the original
  • Included display stand for optimal presentation of the finished model

Scope of delivery

  • Complete plastic model kit with all necessary components
  • Multilingual, illustrated building instructions for easy assembly
  • High-quality decal sheet for true-to-the-original lettering
  • Yarn for the realistic representation of ropes and rigging
  • Sturdy display stand for presentation

The model kit allows you to build a miniature replica of the 67.5-meter-long coast guard ship. The two true-to-the-original Stork diesel engines, each with an output of 4,600 hp, are reproduced in just as much detail as the striking helicopter landing deck.

Background

The history of ETV Waker begins in 1976, when the ship was launched under the name "Smit Houston". Its most notable transformation came in 1990, when it was refitted for Greenpeace and equipped with a helipad. Since 1995, the ocean-going tug has been used by the Dutch Coast Guard in Den Helder under the name "Waker" and reaches a speed of 14 knots thanks to its powerful engines.
