The FH-1 Phantom was the first purely jet-powered aircraft to operate from a U.S. carrier and the first jet type deployed by the USMC. Powered by twin Westinghouse J30s mounted in the wing roots, it entered service with VF-17A in 1947 and proved the viability of carrier jet operations, though it was quickly superseded by the F2H Banshee and F9F Panther.

This is MPM's original 1991 short-run injection kit of the FH-1, one of the only injection-moulded options for this subject prior to Special Hobby's 2018 tool. CMK collaboration. Requires more prep than mainstream releases.
