The Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation was a large four-engine, triple-tail propliner with a distinctive dolphin-shaped fuselage. The Super-G (L-1049G) version of the mid-1950s added more powerful Wright turbo-compound engines and wingtip fuel tanks. Military transport variants served the US Air Force's Military Air Transport Service (MATS) as the C-121, and this kit wears MATS markings with tail number 25413. It is moulded in colour.
