The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War and one of the Luftwaffe's two principal fighter types alongside the Bf 109. The radial-engined A-series, powered by the BMW 801, was rugged, heavily armed and highly effective at low to medium altitude, earning the nickname "Würger" (Shrike). This is Monogram's classic 1/48 Fw 190 tooling, a kit noted for including parts and a large decal sheet to build several different A-series sub-variants.
