The Mercury Comet Cyclone was the performance variant of Ford's compact-based Comet line, introduced for 1964 and significantly restyled for 1965 with stacked quad headlights and a more aggressive front end. The 1965 Cyclone came standard with a 289 cubic inch V8 and bucket seat interior, positioning it as Mercury's entry into the mid-1960s pony car and muscle market. This kit, released in 2016, was Moebius Models' first-ever injection-moulded kit of this subject.
