The 2S6M Tunguska is a Soviet-designed tracked self-propelled anti-aircraft system combining twin 30mm autocannons with surface-to-air missiles on a single tracked chassis, giving it both gun and missile engagement capability against low-flying aircraft and helicopters. Entering service in the 1980s, it was intended to replace the earlier ZSU-23-4 Shilka and remains in use with Russian and other operators. Its integrated radar and dual weapon fit made it a capable mobile air-defence platform for armoured formations.
