Description

LSMA602 - LS Models 1/72 Mitsubishi Ki-67 Yasukuni Peggy - WWWEB10113826

 Preowned, Resealed, Parts off sprue

The Mitsubishi Ki-67 was the best bomber Japan fielded in the Second World War, fast enough to outrun some fighters, well protected by Japanese standards and pleasant enough to fly that pilots reportedly aerobatted it. The Army called it Hiryu and the Allies code named it Peggy. The Navy took a torpedo carrying version into service under the name Yasukuni, flying it with land based units such as the 762nd Kokutai in the late war attacks against American task forces. It arrived far too late and in far too small numbers to change anything, which is part of why it stayed obscure. LS tooled this 1/72 kit in Japan.

  • 1/72 scale plastic assembly kit
  • Builds the Navy torpedo bomber version with underslung torpedo
  • Parts moulded in pale blue grey and black styrene, plus clear parts for the extensively glazed nose and turrets
