LIN72174 - Lindberg 1/25 1964 Dodge 330 Maverick Super Stock - WWWEB10115688
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The 1964 Dodge 330 Super Stock was a purpose-built factory drag racing weapon, stripped of all non-essential weight and fitted with the legendary 426 cu in Hemi V8 in cross-ram twin-carburettor configuration. Chrysler built a small number of these lightweight coupes specifically for Super Stock class competition, and they dominated dragstrips throughout the 1964 season. This kit depicts Bill "Maverick" Golden's famous yellow-and-black #1 car — one of the most recognisable Super Stock machines of the era. Golden earned his "Maverick" nickname on the Southern California drag racing circuit in the late 1950s and became one of Chrysler's most prominent factory-backed drivers.
