The 7.5 cm le.IG 18 was the standard German light infantry gun of the Second World War, a short-barrelled close-support weapon issued to infantry regiments for direct fire against enemy positions. Designed by Rheinmetall in the late 1920s and built in the thousands, it served on every front from 1939 to 1945. This Italeri kit, a reissue of the classic ESCI tooling, pairs the gun with four crew figures, the "servants" of the piece.
