The Hawk 100 series was BAE's dedicated ground attack development of the trainer, adding a redesigned wing, a combat wing tip, extended range and a nose mounted sensor to give a capable light strike aircraft at a fraction of the cost of a front line fighter. Widely exported across the Middle East and Asia, it kept the Hawk commercially dominant well into its third decade. This is Italeri's 1/72 kit, copyright 2000, with a finished model length of 173 mm and markings including an Australian Air Force machine.
