The SAAB 32 Lansen (Lance) was a transonic two-seat attack aircraft produced for the Swedish Flygvapnet between 1955 and 1960, and one of the most capable European combat aircraft of its era. The A32A was the initial attack variant armed with four 20mm cannon and capable of carrying rockets, bombs, and anti-ship missiles. The S32C was a dedicated photo-reconnaissance version. The Lansen served with the Swedish Air Force until 1997 in various roles including attack, fighter (J32B), reconnaissance, and electronic warfare.
