261 - Heller - 1/72 Saab J21A WWHP119865
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Saab J21 was a unique twin-boom, pusher-configuration single-engine fighter that entered Swedish Air Force service in 1945 — the only aircraft in history to see operational service in both piston and jet-powered forms. The J21A was the piston-engined variant, powered by a licence-built Daimler-Benz DB 605 driving a rear-mounted pusher propeller, and served with the Swedish Flygvapnet through the late 1940s. Its unconventional layout necessitated an ejection seat, making it one of the earliest production aircraft so equipped.
