The Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma was the most heavily armed member of the German 8-wheeled Sd.Kfz.234 armoured car family, built by Büssing-NAG on a monocoque hull with all-wheel drive and a Tatra V-12 diesel giving exceptional operational range. It mounted a 5cm KwK 39/1 L/60 gun in a fully enclosed turret originally developed for the Leopard light tank project, backed by a coaxial 7.92mm MG42. Around 101 were produced between late 1943 and September 1944, serving as a fast, hard-hitting reconnaissance vehicle on both fronts. This is Hasegawa's newer-tool 1/72 kit, first released in 2005.
