The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 "Würger," nicknamed the "Butcher Bird" by Allied crews, was one of Germany's most capable wartime fighters. The A-8/R2 was the Sturmbock (battering ram) variant, a heavily armed and armoured bomber-destroyer fitting 30mm MK 108 cannon in the outer wings, flown against USAAF heavy bomber formations in 1944. Eduard's Weekend Edition provides a straightforward build with plastic and decals only.
