A Brassin detail set from Eduard reproducing the fuselage MG 17 machine gun installation for Eduard's 1/48 scale Bf 109E kits. The MG 17 was used as the standard fuselage armament across Bf 109 variants from the E-1 through the G-4, mounted above the engine and firing through the cowling.

The set contains 8 resin parts and a photo-etched fret, covering the two machine guns, their mount supports, associated fittings including electrical and pneumatic lines, and ammunition boxes. The gun-mount housing is moulded to scale thinness. Two additional loose ammunition boxes are included as a bonus for diorama use outside the airframe. Compatible with Eduard's 1/48 Bf 109E kits (8261, 8263).
