Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Sikorsky S-43 "Baby Clipper" was a twin-engine amphibian that first flew in 1935, operating with Pan American World Airways and several international carriers before being adopted by the U.S. Navy as the JRS-1. Seventeen aircraft were procured between 1937 and 1939, with a small number stationed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. One of those aircraft — Bureau Number 1063, the VJ-1 skipper's plane — participated in the search for the Japanese fleet in the hours following the attack and is currently under restoration at the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Center.
Eduard's limited edition packages the Sword 1/72 injected kit with a substantial suite of aftermarket upgrades. Suited to intermediate and advanced builders.
