In December 1944 German forces launched a surprise offensive through the Ardennes forest, the attack that became known as the Battle of the Bulge and stood as Germany's last major push in the West. Fought in bitter winter conditions, the campaign is depicted here by four figures representing Waffen-SS troops in reversible camouflage smocks and cold-weather dress.
