Description
DRA3538 - Dragon 1/35 UH-1D Huey - WWHP111433
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Bell UH-1 Iroquois — universally known as the "Huey" — is one of the most recognizable military aircraft ever built, and an enduring symbol of the Vietnam War. The UH-1D was an upgraded, stretched-fuselage variant introduced in 1963, increasing troop and cargo capacity over the original UH-1B. Approximately 7,000 Hueys were deployed to Vietnam out of a total production run of around 16,000 aircraft; roughly 2,500 were lost to combat and accidents in theatre. Dragon's first 1/35 scale Huey remains the most detailed injection-moulded kit of the type at this scale.
Completed model: 368mm length, 425mm rotor diameter.
