Description

BROCB35052 - Bronco - 1/35 German Light Staff Car 'Stabswagen' Mod.1937 (Saloon) w/ Crew - WWHP113546

Preowned, Resealed, Mint

Behind the generic Wehrmacht designation sits the Opel Olympia, the first German car mass produced with a unitary all-steel body and named for the 1936 Berlin Games. A 1.5 litre four-cylinder gave 37 hp and a top speed of around 112 km/h, respectable enough for the new autobahns. Large numbers were requisitioned as light staff cars and served the Heer and Luftwaffe through the war years, with production ending in October 1940.

Box contents:

  • Tan injection moulded sprues with separately moulded body
  • Clear sprue for windows and lights
  • Separate multi-part wheel and tire assemblies
  • Two figures: seated driver and standing officer
  • Waterslide decal sheet with licence plates and markings
  • Instruction sheet with painting and marking guide
