AZUAIR004 - Azur 1/72 Farman (SNCAC) NC 223.1 "Chef Pilote Laurent Guerrero" - WWHP113091
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Farman NC.223.1 was a large four-engine French monoplane derived from the earlier Farman F.220 series, redesignated NC.223 after Farman was absorbed into SNCAC. The first aircraft, F-APUZ "Chef Pilote Laurent Guerrero," flew as a long-range mail carrier, set a payload-distance record in 1937, and later served Air France on the South Atlantic route before being taken into French naval service. This is Azur's 2005 short-run injection kit, made in the Czech Republic, covering the prototype F-APUZ.
Box contents:
- Short-run injection-moulded plastic sprues for a 1/72 scale Farman NC.223.1
- Resin detail parts
- Clear parts for glazing
- Decals for three schemes: F-APUZ "Laurent Guerrero" in Air France ivory and silver, F-APUZ "F-2" in the August 1937 Paris-Istres-Damas race markings, and F-APUZ in December 1939 camouflage
