The Sauber-Mercedes C9 was the Group C prototype that returned Mercedes-Benz to the front of sports car racing, powered by a twin-turbo V8 and finished in the AEG/silver "Silver Arrow" livery. In 1989 it won the Le Mans 24 Hours, taking a 1-2 finish, and carried Sauber-Mercedes to the World Sportscar Championship. This is Tamiya's 1/24 Sports Car Series kit of the car, with decals for the winning car numbers.
