Vallejo Metal Color Set — Metallic Panels
Suitable for: Natural metal finish aircraft — P-51D Mustang, B-29 Superfortress, F-86 Sabre, B-47 Stratojet, DC-3, Convair B-36, early jet airliners. Covers subtle variation between aluminium alloy panels.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
