Vallejo True Metallic Metal — Sterling Silver (Shade)

Subject: Miniatures

Neutral silver metallic — Space Marine silver armour, Grey Knights, Stormcast Eternals silver trim, chainmail, plate steel, weapon blades.

Role: Dark recess tone. Apply into recesses and panel lines after the Base coat to create depth and shadow.

How to use the TMM system: Apply the Base coat first as your primary metallic layer. Wash recesses with the Shade to add depth. Build highlights on raised edges with the Light. Use the Airbrush variant for airbrushed base coats and zenithal pre-highlighting.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
